- Are the course objectives measurable and clearly stated, particularly in the syllabus?
- Are the lesson objectives measurable and clearly stated for each lesson, and do they meet the course objectives?
- Does each lesson have an introduction that gives an overview of what students should expect from that lesson?
- Does the lecture content bridge the comprehension gap left after students have finished their reading assignments and reviewed the Internet resources for each lesson?
- Have study guides and other tools been created that students can use to reinforce what they learn from each lesson?
- Do the assessments, such as quizzes, measure students’ performance and provide automatic feedback?
- Are the course materials modular so that students can easily navigate through the course?
- Is the course design aesthetically pleasing?
